In the past 24 hours, I've watched Two and Three argue over a recorder and Ten sit at the unpopular table, and now I'm watching Cap'n (not Captain) Jack flip the Pearl.  I'm wearing the super awesome shirt Hillary got me for Christmas ("The angels have the phone box."), working on my latest Sculpey project, and eating a slightly-too-cold cheesy

My last two weekend-ish time spent at home was spent showing Mum most of Series Three of "Who" -- we got up through "Family of Blood" yesterday, which I still love. I've decided to skip "Blink" (and come back to it later, of course) on my next trip home and show her the series-finale three-parter before I implode -- I am DYing for her to see it. _Dying_.

So I'm devoting this weekend to a rewatch of them myself, because I still have yet to watch the final episode a second time round, and I want a proper, non-fevered chance to bawl over it by myself before I watch it with others ...

And I LOVE Cap'n (not Captain) Jack. I LOVE him! :D (Even if he DID ruin the ending of "I Am Legend" for me ... ;-D)

In other news, I bought you something exceptionally awesome for Christmas this morning before work and I am irrationally pleased with myself. You can tell, because I'm actually bragging about it in an LJ comment post. ;-D Should be going out by the end of the week ...

Oh, dear... My gift to you is going to be rather pathetic, if you're bragging about "exceptionally awesome"... ::sigh:: Ah, well. I least I didn't make you wait for it until August this time...

And I have made something slightly silly for you, but I'm not quite satisfied with it yet, so it may be a little while longer before I actually send it off to you. So I guess keep your eye on your inbox for the next day or so.

(Someday, I'm going to actually _finish_ my more indepth ramblings about AWE and why Cap'n (Not Captain) Jack and Barbossa are my heroes, because my opinion of the movie has seriously, _seriously_ changed since that first viewing.)
