Sew What

Every year, around this time, I take a look at my garb and swear that I need sew my little fingers to the bones in order to make it through War.  And every year I fail to do so, I get maybe one or two items done.   And one always ends up replacing the dress that disintegrated during my first war camp.   I go off to Pennsic with nothing to wear and ( Read more... )

Yeah I feel ya. As soon as the semester is over sewing is high on the list of stuff I need to do as well.

I've been fairly happy with Historic Enterprises' hose, if you decide you want to cross one item off your list the easy (but not cheap, of course) way. :)

Speaking of getting outfitted... Do you know of anyplace in or around New Haven where I can get Victorian/Edwardian clothing? I might have an event to attend Saturday evening...

Not to buy, but you may beable to rent something from the costume/dancers shop on State Street in Fair Haven
