awh, I loved this! I didn't see the realisation coming, but it was brilliantly realised. Interesting use of Edwin too. The reincarnation really helps with the characterisation, cos I was having trouble with the idea of film-star!Merlin picking up random guys

Oops! No, I can't imagine ever writing a film star Merlin who picks up random guys either! Actually, the bit that made me want to write the prompt was the little bit at the end about making it a reincarnation fic, so I wanted Merlin to be aware of who Arthur was from the start and for poor Arthur to be a bit clueless and overwhelmed by it all (as you would be, I think!)

Aww! That was both hilarious and adorable. When someone posted the prompt, I loved the concept of reversing the role pattern, and you really made it work. I love the way Arthur kept denying his fannishness, keeping him in character, but kept blushing whenever Merlin was nearby. I can't help giggling imagining what Merlin must've been thinking when Arthur told him he had no paper for an autograph. Merlin's going to milk this for years, isn't he? ;p And, hahaha, the Twilight stickers. Oh, and when Merlin mouthed "chronological order" at him, I kept seeing canon!Arthur going "the honour!" in 2x01. And, hee, Merlin's despair when Arthur's obviously not on the same page as he is, at first. That was lovely! :D

First of all, I have a soppy smile on my face now after spotting your icon :)

But, anyway, THANK YOU. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it so much and especially that Arthur's characterisation came over well. I really wanted him to be the more unsure one in this scenario and not to change completely, even when he got his memories back. Yes, Merlin was probably a bit taken aback. Until he realised the full Teasing Potential and decided he could do with a new ringtone :D He really will be milking it for the rest of their lives!
