This was fantastic, I love the interaction between all the characters especially from Percy's POV. I particularly love seeing M&A interaction through Percy's eyes and this so did not disappoint. I am still smiling at the image of Arthur scrubbing Merlin's face :)
I wish you would write something of a decent length in the same vain that was just M&A daily routine. Like just a weeks worth of activity where nothing untoward necessarily happens just them living their lives. I know you would do a great job with it.
There seems to be so much angst out there at the moment. I love angst don't get me wrong but I would love to see your light gentle touch at work so I can just read some happy M&A for once :)

Thank you anyway for your comment! And for remembering Percy :) It turns out I really can't stay away from him, and I've been dying to write more Isolda for ages so I was glad I could give her a bigger role this time round :D She is very devious, but god forbid anyone else should tease her brother too much, she'd probably challenge them!!
And I 'awww'd' at Percy the younger brother, that's such a good description!!! :D

I love how you worked in the meta references to other sources. And dealt with alternate versions with having the Bard's song. And then having that bit about a manuscript correction! Palaeography joy! And Geoffrey himself!
Geoffrey looked scandalised, "I record facts! It is not for me to make up new anything."
Geoffrey, oh fabulous librarian-historian-scribe character of my heart! Was that another meta reference to Geoffrey of Monmouth and all his interventions and reinterpretations of the legend?
By the time Geoffrey had checked the Seal of Nobility for damage three timesMy heart goes out to both of them! Poor Percy sneezing from the dusty library materials, and Geoffrey zealously guarding ( ... )
