Ew that's gross. Maybe a chemical reaction with bug guts? Weird.

We use organic dish soap from Trader Joe's. It's cheap and has never gone rancid on us...

That sounds awesome. I always inherently feel like soap cannot be unclean, because it is a cleaning agent. What a betrayal!
