HELP with 1970s style plz!

Hello! Can anyone please help me? I'm inivited to a party tomorrow, the theme is 1970s. Can anyone post pictures or links to examples of makeup style & hairstyle of that period?!

I'll wear a fuschia dress I guess, but I'm not sure about the hairstyle/makeup/accessories or jewelery. I don't have the full look yet. I'll really appreciate your help.

I think of the 70s as covering two different trends - the early 70s were still coming out of the 'hippie' look which was really natural and minimal when it came to hair and makeup - with long hair and basically just lip gloss. As for jewelery I think of long strands of beads and accessory flowers in the hair and headbands. The later 70s were more about the disco era - that was when Charlie's Angels were popular so all the girls' hairstyles were based around feathered bangs or the Farrah Fawcett flip (you can definitely see pics of that if you google her name). As for jewelery I coudn't say - the guys wore a lot though (gold chains, etc). And everyone wore lycra/spandex in the late 70s. Also, flare leg and high waist pants and jeans were very popular throughout the whole 70s. You could try googling pecific celebrities or popular tv shows and movies from the 70s for pictures from that era to give you some ideas. For example, the movie "Saturday Night Fever" is practically a tribute to the disco era
