An exploration of (a) the relationship between the vessel and the angel, and (b) how Castiel deals with the brainwashing fiasco. Let’s pretend that it actually fulfills some of that pretentious bullshit, shall we?
Hey, hey, I just want to let everyone know that I did not 'yell' at you, because (a) it was in a text message and everyone knows it's impossible to yell through a text, and (b) it's called encouragement! Never say can't!
And whoa, this is strange. In a good way. I like how you take a kid who can't act and give her a character where she wouldn't have too (and that's not an insult, honest).
There were exclamation points. And it wasn't the bad kind of yelling.
Thanks! That was kind of the point.
I still haven't read your review for 'The Rapture,' because I don't want to get spoiled for Smallville. Dave said the episode was really good, but Dave also thinks that the show is good this season. So yeah. Not the most trustworthy of creatures. (Was he right? Is it good?)
OLLIE IS AWESOME. He's like the most epic voice of reason, he doesn't really do anything badass (he gets punked by Davis really easily) but he doesn't take any of Jimmy or Clark's crap and it's great.
Ooh, this was great! Very intriguing, and I love that we're able to see Castiel from an outside character's point of view. I'm also really intrigued by Claire now. She didn't particularly blow me away in the episode, but now I find I want to know more about her.
I love her mental hide-away in the dusty library, and all the thousands of books that have no words, and how she's able to read Castiel's story like it's a diary. It's wonderful that he's still showing doubts, though obviously he's trying to hide it.
I would love if you wrote more of this. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks! I felt the exact same way about Claire in the episode, but her agreeing to be Castiel's host made me like her enough to want to know more about her.
Dean/Cas is not the dark side... well okay by most rights it is you know blashphamey but blasphamey is such a wonderful world. Embrace it, don't fight it ... its practically canon anyways (you know nicknames, "I would do anything for you not to have to do this," sneaky looks, and he even wouldnt look at Dean and tried to leave without saying anything but Dean stopped him so he couldnt) AHH sorry forgive my rant I just love them so much
Anyways ^.^ Wonderful story, lovely in its quiet nostalgic tone and I love how Cas is trying so hard to be what he is supposed to but he cant. SIGH poor Cas this last ep broked me. Also Im a sucker for the unknowing outsider POV and while Claire has a little insight its practically that. Good Job^.^

Too much Chloe/Davis though. Ugh.

Ughness. Abuse isn't just the new dead parents, it's the new Chloe/Clark.

(Can I just say, the idea of Misha doing Blue Steel makes laugh hysterically?)

Thanks so much! This episode broke my heart too, so writing this was my way of coping.
