The day the nurses start wearing Team Edward and Team Jacob buttons, Jennifer petitions for shore leave. According to the paperwork she is now filling out, she needs to have a valid reason for her departure. She has a valid reason, of course, but she has a feeling that Woolsey won’t really care about her romantic problems, and it’s already so ( Read more... )

...but comparing them to the main characters of one of the most horribly written novels in existence.

...is why I refuse to read these books. I will not be sucked in. *shakes fist*

I loved this drabble. It's awesome makes up for the fact that you read the Twilight series. It seems I'm one of the few people who hasn't. And thanks, also, for keeping the ship alive. I still have some outstanding R/K fic. Maybe we can get the mods to host another fic prompt thingie at OSL.

Also, read Companions of the Night by Vivian Vande Velde. It will de-melt your brain. I promise. :)

Yeah, I really would not recommend them.

At any rate, thanks for the feedback! I know how you feel about the need to keep the ship alive.

Ha, I'll look into the book, thanks.

Cool. Unfortunately, the book is out-of-print, but fortunately, you can get a used copy for pretty cheap on Amazon.com.

Thanks for telling me. I'm so the type to wander around Barnes & Noble looking for it for hours. The joys of Amazon!

Oh very nice. I read Twilight, I admit it. I have therefore spent the last year reading as much classic literature as I can to flush it from my brain. (Henry James, Dickens, and Austen: stat!)

But this was adorable. I can see the stand-off in the doorway with John very well. It made me chuckle!

Ooh yeah, Fitzgerald and Ken Kesey were my responses.

Thank you!

love the comparison - any chance for a follow up from rodney/ronan's pov?

Mental health days are soooo the right response to this situation, and Jacob was always cooler(right up until renesme....*shudder*)

Should you still be traumatised by the horror-that-shall-remain-unnamed, may i humbly suggest Vampire Hunter D? If you squint you can pretend that D is killing Meyer monstrosities. Exists as anime, novels and Manga

I've seen Vampire Hunter D, actually, and while I wouldn't necessarily call it...cleansing, I know what you mean. ;)

Thanks a bunch for the comment!
