“Why don’t we dance anymore?”

He looked up at her, startled, from where he sat at the kitchen table. He was picking at a piece of toast and reading a magazine. “Er,” he said. “What?”

Rose rubbed the little crusty bits of mascara out of her sleepy eyes and blinked at him. “We used to dance all over the TARDIS ( Read more... )

Oops . . . the bad kind of confusing, or the good kind?

The good kind, of course! An excellent story, just not much explanation as to how they got from "scene" to scene...

I was a bit confused, too, until I reread the previous stories, and was able to tell what was current Rose/TenII and what was memory.

These is wonderfully written. As much as it hurts to think that TenII is totally different and not at all in tune with Rose (nor does he seem bothered by this), it's written very convincingly. And it makes me want Ten to find her ASAP. And to find out what will ultimately happen to TenII.

Please continue! I'll be reading...

Thanks for reading. I should probably put something in later about reading all of them being necessary.

I just figured that TenII would find life as a human really . . . annoying. And take that out on Rose.

(Unfortunately. This may also be because I really, really want TenI to come back, and will therefore make Rose/TenII an impossible ship in my mind. Also a possibility.)

Hehe, I very much want Ten to come back, too, for his sake, if no one elses. But given he tends to be a prat when it comes to his own happiness, I'm not sure he's gonna do it, so I use the possibility that Rose and TenII can be happy as a balm for my own soul :).

I do agree, though - TenII would find adjusting to being a "stupid ape" very difficult, indeed.

Ah-ha! Thus the reason for AU-ness! And the entire purpose of my 'Rescue Rose' arc . . .
