Oh, this is gorgeous. Really delightful - there's something about James' persistence (and difficulty in recognising when he is getting somewhere) that just makes me want to pet him.

I'm grinning like a big, grinning thing. This is really your first James/Lily? Oh, all your characters are just fabulous, as ever, and I love the feel and atmosphere and richness of your world - what a delight to step right into it again!

And hee, much, much love for flirtation via Scrabble. Shall be making a note of that one. ;)

Also, I loved how a few DH elements were incorporated into this, very nice indeed!

You know me, Amy, avoiding the het all at costs! Like Dumbledore, I'm happy to find love wherever it is, but there are already so many straight love stories out there in the world...

This was actually written in May, but there are some DH-ish hints, aren't there? A little ironic, because my actual predictions for the book were astontishingly off-base.

I like how tough Lily is in defense of Severus, also.

I cringe a bit about that now, after DH, but...ah, well. *frowns determinedly in an effort to adjust to and assimilate new canon*
