Oh! What is this for?!?!?! What a surprise!!!! Thank you! :D Awwww, this is lovely and poignant.
This: “It is as if I am invisible.” and the following lines, made me think how being invisible, going unnoticed, can be both oppressive and a privelege and I love your light touch in exploring this. With the weight loss, I have actually been thinking about this quite a bit.. anyway... Tonks is quite brilliant and Fleur is thoughtful and lovely. The serious experiment coupled with their light banter (or not light, exactly -- easy, natural) and the lovely afternoon is a wonderful balance. Aaaaaannnd you gave me an achingly romantic ending!! I love it.
Do you remember way back in August I offered to write a drabble for your birthday? *wry smile* (I've got to stop doing that, because I'm the worst ever on ficcish follow-through.) But I'm glad you enjoyed! I've been thinking a lot about the issue of body types and beauty and visibility and invisibility, as well, and I'm fascinated by the way in which Fleur must experience the world completely differently, having been assured of male attention and praise all her life without ever having to work for it. Thanks so much for getting me excited about the pairing, way back when! *smooch* M.
Aw, thank you! It seems like fic with Tonks simply has to be light, don't you think? She seems to have such a good sense of proportion about her life. Thanks for reading! M.
Ooh, this is lovely. It took me about halfway through to catch on to "the plan," too. ;) And way to go for working the second person - in lesser hands it comes off so clunky, sometimes. Quite a few fab things packed into these 800 words!
Ah, hope it wasn't too opaque as a strategy! (I was hoping to string you along for a few paragraphs, at least, but not veer off into obscurity or confusion.) Thanks for reading, L. M.
Thanks, L. This probably should have been better paced and fleshed out a bit, but that's not likely to happen in the near future, and it's nice to just steal some time and write something occasionally, isn't it? I miss writing fic. M.

My favourite line: It’s effortless for her, after all, as well as compulsory; it’s who she is.
