And, yes, Hermione's right: books help! JKR doesn't give her enough credit. It's the ultimate insider's attitude, really, that you don't need a book.
Thanks for reading! Maggie

And, truthfully, I don't see Molly (or many of the other characters) being nearly so accepting, but Harry will have a great time in Manchester, anyway, especially when he finds Snape. You bounce back at that age.

“Yes, there’s a story to tell. But it’s waited so many years already we may as well eat first.”
And that’s not the only detail that makes quite enough of sense. Yes, I love stories about identity, not about sex.

I think my favourite bit was Neville ~squishes him~ although I did love Remus' hints as well, yay! You write all of them so well, which is delightful.
And a lot it is so funny, as well - Hermione, Luna & Tonks in particular.
I do believe I've had most of these conversations and reactions - you did a fantastic job with the dialogue, it all rang really true - and I think I love you for commemorating those protests.

Yay! I'd hoped a couple would be recognizable.
Love the icon, by the way! Thanks for reading. Maggie

Also books really do have the answers. I'd never have sorted it all out with as little mess as I ultimately did, without books. Key to everything in those pages.
And I too have had several of those conversations. Well, not the ones with Remus or Molly, but the ones with my peers anyway.

And you've had these conversations, too? I think so many of us have. They're actually much more funny on touching on the page. *wry smile* Maggie

And yep, I've had those questions. I'm still putting off the rl version of Remus and Molly though, so Harry wins on the bravery front! And yes, so much more funny and touching on the page. In real life, hideous and horrible.
