More grammar bitching
Words like council, group, or team are singular words and should never be paired with a plural verb.
For instance:
The Council are is not correct. The correct verson of this statement would be the Council is or the members of the Council are.
Ditto goes for things like bands. Linkin Park are great is wrong. Linkin Park is great is appropriate ( Read more... ) -

Could someone please explain to me who the fuck started this trend of using apostrophes to designate pluralities of acronyms so I can beat said person? Take, for instance, the acronym RPG. If you were to use the word RPG's, your RPG possesses something. RPG would be the correct way of formatting this to show more than one. I may even let you slide ( Read more... ) -
