There is a love/hate relationship with the end of the school year. You lose some kids to graduation and you get a great break from having to teach those that remain for a bit.

You have nicely put in place what you are doing for the summer. *laughs* Use of bathtub. Well other things as well. 8 weeks. It seems like so short a time ago that you were just starting this project. Go you. Best wishes if you're busy resting and other preparations. *hugs* Am so pleased.

Wow, so close to baby time! Hm, I wonder how the dog snuggling will fit in once baby time is here. Also, my dog doesn't allow reading to happen during mandatory snuggle time. He needs me fully engaged and looking into his eyes. I'm glad your pregnancy is going so well. I'll hope for a midsize baby for you. ^_ ( ... )

If we only ate local, this time of year we could only get apples that had spent all winter in a cellar and I live near apple country. All fruits would be like cherries and cranberries, only in season for six weeks a year. And with the cold spring in much of the country, only hothouse vegetables would be available. A little driving probably saves a lot of electricity.

I work in a grocery store. If we only bought local, the produce department would be smaller than the candy section.

Eight weeks. I hope your baby's born on time. Every day after the due day is an eternity. And if nine pounds is average in your family, I hope the little one isn't too much bigger. *shudders at the thought* Eight pounds was enough for me, thank you very much.

Vampire Snow White sounds fun. I've got a Snow White as well, from the POV of the Khan of a Mongolian Horde.
