day 08 - makeup talk round two.

Katie asked me to talk about makeup in general and what fave products of mine. I'm delayed today because I've been sick, and it's been my sister's birthday party. So sorry for the delay!

Do you use lip gloss at all?I do! I just failed to mention that haha. But I have some primary ones I use which are Revlon. There's a Candy Apple red color and then a bordeaux plum wine color I use. I also have a pink from Maybelline which has a great taste to it. I use gloss usually when I'm too lazy to want to do lipstick and maintain it all day. OR, because I want to punch color up on a lip stain or lipstick

Ahh! I totally need to remember to use lip gloss on my lazy days! I do my lips last, so sometimes I don't have time to really do them right. I have some free Ultra ones and Rimmel, which someone rec'd and some from ELF. Some of the ELF ones I don't like at all, but some seem pretty good.

Hmmm. Maybe I can trick my sister into using makeup by giving her stuff I don't want, haha. I gave my mom some blush I didn't want, but she didn't want it either. :P

Re: the scented stuff. I haven't had tooo much of a trouble with makeup, but it's frustrating that so many products have scent added! I've bought some shampoo that didn't advertise an obvious scent and it was just like NO.

And oooh. I will try that out someday!

A warning about the MAC mineral foundations though - on some people (and I am one of them) they oxidise like CRAZY and go really yellow, so DEFINITELY try wearing it for a long period of time before you buy it?
