I am finally commenting and am so proud of myself what up what up. This is so fluid and wonderful: the pickings of Elijah's mind, Elena with her Boleyn appeal. walking about town as if it were her own and I just love love love it. Elijah is there and Elijah wants to show her what's up but Elena is having none of his shit.

and this LINE: he imagines how she'd look with a purple bloom of bruises again. I think I shrieked a little when I read that in class. More shrieking at that section where it would be just so easy to make her turn on her humanity again, how he'd relish in it, he thinks they're equals ("a queen's tears reserved only for him") so he of all people should get to see her broken and battered, oh oh. You are so great when it comes to Elejah. You never (and would never, could never) let me down

Frankly I love the new Elena. She has taken her life into her own hands. I think given time she could be more deadly than the rest of them. She has moved from princess to queen; from girl to woman. It only makes sense that she chooses a king, a man. That is Elijah. I love the self awareness you create for Elijah. I enjoy reading it very much. Thank you!
