This is, as all your Elena/Elijah fics, so in character it just makes my heart skip a little beat to be able to see these two interact like this so clearly because of your prose. I love how you've set up the time line of this, and the small titles of each section in this fic as well. It adds so much to the whole concept of this fic and beginnings and endings and eternity. It's gorgeous.

And augh, that line. Because one reason I love them is because as much faith as he has in her he sees that ability in her.

Why is it I didn't know you wrote this until now? I know I've prompted this so many times before on different memes! But I saw it on one of the tvdfic journals and came right over here because this prompt--and them--and vampire!Elena.

I love the style of this, it's one I've seen a few times before and have always wanted to try but never have; and you did it brilliantly. I especially loved the 'pause' section and this line: She's never been a saint, never been above manipulation, and really it's a pity to those who never saw that.
