Miss? I didn't want to disturb you, but I have a question regarding the... children. Have funeral arrangements been made yet? If not, then I would like to set up a service.
I have arranged for some simple funeral services for the dead little boy and his mother. They will be held tomorrow. You are welcome to attend, if you would like to.
I have not made arrangements for the little girl who is in hospital though. Will she go to an orphanage?
Pardon my rudeness and quietness from the night before. I never expected such a scene on my way home. I thank you and your companion for saving my life as well as that of the child.
You may call me Aurelius as well. Thank you for being concerned about such a simple thing as a funeral.
Mmm. Please, no apologies are necessary, miss Aurelius. Don't thank me. I regret we were unable to get there in time for him, but... well, I'm just thankful we were able to get to you two in time. And thank you, I will attend. I was also going to ask- if you would not mind, please forward any monetary costs on this to me, personally. I can do at least that much for them.
The girl... most likely will be placed in a boarding school or orphanage, though not until she is fully healed and a suitable one has been found. Until then, she'll stay here in the WRO hospital. I imagine she'll be spoiled by the staff- but after what she's been through, she deserves it.
Miss Aurelius of BioFuse... thank you, for caring for the people.
As unfortunate as the event was, I do not believe that we could have done anything more than we did. We should take peace in what we did do rather than what we failed to accomplish. That boy died so his sister could live.
Yes, if that is what you wish, I will pass everything along to you.
I feel... bad for her. She must be so scared and confused. I think the scars she will bear will be the hardest thing for her. Has there been any word on what caused the mother to react in such a way?
I am only doing what I feel will make the lives of those around me better. I strive to only bring a bit of happiness to the less fortunate.
She will get psychological help as well, while she is here. One of the virtues of humans is that we can take the tragedies that have broken us in the past and use them to become stronger, to make sure others do not suffer in the same way. We'll try to provide the support we can to get her to that level. I would be more than happy to keep you updated on her progress, if you like.
The mother... the evidence suggests she was apparently in the very last stages of M-PIV addiction. It's too late to save that family- but it's not too late for others. Stopping the drug trade is one of our goals; we'll be ramping up our efforts on it. No more children should have to suffer because of it.
