The Next Disney Animated Movie...is Based on a Philip K. Dick Short Story?
YesI have never heard of the story "The King of the Elves" and it doesn't look like the story is beyond usual Disney fare (nobody is secretly the Gnostic Demiurge, reality does not reinvent itself in the final act, and there are no drugs). But still...it is sort of a strange idea. How did that come up in conversation

Then again, Disney did manage to do a kid-friendly version of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (only if the "Hellfire " sequence really went over their little heads), so anything's possible.
I hope it's done in 2D animation. That is all.
