I need moving boxes. Craigslist was a bust.

I used to always get them from work. So I dunno where to get them now. Other than to pay for ones from uhaul and the like. Which I CAN NOT afford.

Call your local walmart, talk to a manager, let them know you're getting ready to move and you'd like to pick up some boxes on (whatever) day...... they need to know at least a day before, you get the boxes once the night crew empties them..... and since unless there is a request for them to be saved they all get crushed.... you have to give them that notice!

At least our walmart does that (an ex stocker here)... and I know that some others do. Worth a shot at least!

Hmmm walmart is 20 mins away. But may be worth the drive for boxes.

Hmmm....
Other stores may do the same if you have something closer? It's worth a phone call at least?
They get some really good boxes in though, so it may be worth it....

I agree with the first commenter (again hehe)
Also, restaurants have tons of boxes so you can also ask them. When I worked at Olive Garden we got requests for boxes all the time (and always had plenty to give).
AND liquor stores are great for boxes. Especially for packing heavy stuff like dishes.

Hi, I'm Jenny!

And yes, liquor stores are also great places for getting boxes!

grocery stores are good too.. we got all our boxes from Publix when we moved.. we stole them from the carboard-only dumpster outside.. which was probably illegal ha

down in ballard there is a fruit stand on 15th and 65th. They always have boxes and are super nice.
