Great chapter! Angst and sweet all at the same time. I like reading about House's feeling about everything. My fav line was:

"Wilson always ate the cereal part of his Lucky Charms before the marshmallows"

because that's totally how I eat my Lucky Charms. I try as best as I can to eat around the marshmallows, then I eat a spoonful of milk per one marshmallow, lol.

Tragically brilliant and amazingly written. ♥

Wilson had a disturbing habit of changing into comfortable yet non-casual clothes as soon as he got home, no matter how many times House compared the behavior to the late Mr. Rogers.

That line was so unbelievably Wilson that I cackled. I could just picture a candid scene of Wilson changing into a second neat dress shirt and sweater vest, and House humming the Mr. Rodgers theme...excellent. XD

Wilson was quiet when he had a headache, funny when he was tired, loud when he was drunk, sexy when he was annoyed, beautiful when he was happy.This was my favourite line. It may sound funny to say when he's describing Wilson has sexy and beautiful, but it seemed like a random thought that House would actually have for Wilson. After all, the two moods he seems to love initiating most often on him are annoyance and amusement

Heheh, I actually considered writing a Mr. Roger's type little short scene, just to amuse myself :)

And yes, I think House making Wilson laugh or annoying him is a big part of their friendship, and how they communicate in some ways, even.

I had so much fun with the fluff in this chapter and previous ones that I really didn't want to bring up the angst--but it had to be done, for me to feel like the story is complete. I think the ketamine failure is directly responsible for what happened in Season 3 with House losing control. I hope to show that in the last chapter.

Aw, magie, don't do this to me! The first part of the chapter was so lovely and romantic and fluffy and-- it basically felt as if I jumped into a huge down pillow; I had a huge grin on my face when I read. That is exactly what romance should be like.
And then you give me us the best bittersweet angst there is. And now I'm feeling down. Oh well, at least I got to read a new chapter form my favorite author. *grins*

Awww, after all the fun I had with this fluff, I really didn't want to do it...but that's what happened with the ketamine. I think it's a big part of what happened in Season 3, the way House lost control the way he did. I think I can build that up in my next chapter, but it's going to be more of this angst. Don't worry, though; I'll always keep in mind the love :) I think the 'worst' angst, the kind that hurts most, is when the boys are mad at each other or their relationship is in trouble; that's not going to happen here :)

I know you where not entirely sure about this, but I'm glad you posted it. I do love this entire story.

It's a really intresting look at House and Wilson, and you get to the heart of the matter. In particular I love the 'being i love with Wilson sucks' thing. It's just so sweet, and also a little sad.

As I mentioned earlier I also love the Stacey Paralell, it's only natural he would think of her at this point.

Maybe we'll get lucky and see Hugh holding the real thing like he so much deserves. He and RSL - Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor.
