Heyhey, your story posted, yo! I'm a sucker for a happy ending and a weirded-out Bollo and Naboo, so this brings me joy. :) You should really think about joining the BSH comm and posting your stuff there as well, maybe find a beta as well?
Aww Thanks *blushblush* I have tried joining the BSH comm but something went a bit spaz with my computer so when I try and verify my new account the "Type the numbers below to verify your account" pic doesn't show :/ Also I know nothing of comupters and so have no idea what you mean by finding a beta :P Please explain?
I have no idea what numbers it's making you type in. I think you have to wait for a mod to approve your membership request, but apart from that I HAVE NO IDEA
A beta is somebody who reads over stuff for you. Like I'll often send a chapter off to a mate of mine to give me notes on what works and if the semicolons are all in the right place. It's awesome.
Thanks! Yeah I send bits of the stuff I write to one of my mates and she gives me improvements and does a spell check etc. She's really good at that stuff, I can't spell at all. Not even for strawberry bootlaces :P Actually about to post another fic that she helped massively on :)
I'm not sure if you want constructive criticism, so I won't give any unless you ask. But it was sweet and at the core you can feel their connection.
I second doctorpancakes suggestion. You need a beta. Someone who can look for content as well as grammar - i.e. story flow and pacing, inconsistencies, areas that could be fleshed out more or edited down, characterization, choice of vocabulary, etc. Those are all things a good beta can advise you on with every story you write. My beta Bluey and I talk through ideas as well.
Constructive critisism is very welcome so fire away! This fic was actually unbeta'd as I only just got a beta at the time but the all par one of my other fics are beta'd but any imporvements are always something good in my books. Thank you though, it's always nice to get comments :D
