Summer is coming up quickly, isn't it? Better find a place to stay. Onua's only here for a little bit; she has that horse show in England to go to. What is everyone doing? Any fun trips planned

Matt made a face," How are we gonna breathe..?"

He nervously took Daine's hand, glancing up at her.

"We can use the bubble head charm!" She smiled at him. "Don't be afraid. Are you ready to go?"

Matthew sighed, using the charm with ease as he was rather good at them before nodding to Daine.

"ready when you are," his voice was a bit muffled from the bubble.

"Okay." She cast the charm on herself, still smiling. "We're going to dive now, alright?"

Daine began wading into the deeper water.

Matt followed, feeling a bit odd as he was going deeper. He'd never really done this before after all.

Still holding on to Matt's hand, Daine dove under the water. Thankfully the lake was clear, providing a view of the plants that lived there. She smiled at him reassuringly.

Matthew looked around in awe, it was almost like scuba diving as he had heard about it..He smiled back at Daine. Feeling a bit more relaxed than before.

Daine motioned with her free hand to keep going. She led him deeper into the lake and farther out, until something seemed to be moving slowly somewhere near them.

Matthew swam with her, he squinted a little to see and blinked. He motioned to the thing moving slowly.

Daine motioned as well. It was the Squid- large and imposing, circling around them. It pulled closer to them, staring at both of them with a large eye.

What do you want...? The squid was saying, slowly and almost monotonous.

Matthew's eyes widened and he tried not the flail a little as the squid stared at them.

Daine squeezed on his hand for reassurance, and pulled out her wand. Her mentor Onua had taught her how to share the gift of listening to animals with others, if only for awhile. A bright light shone from the end of her wand as she placed it on Matt's hand.

Who is this person, Daine? The slow voice was asking. He's not a dolphin, is he?

Matthew was shocked as he heard the montone voice, looking over to squid then to Daine. He shook his head at the dolphin part.

What is he, then? Some strange fish? Daine shook her head.

He's a human, like me. Daine told the creature. Matthew, you can talk to him too. It's fair easy...you think it. Animals communicate with thoughts, sometimes.

I..I can talk to it? wicked... Matt thought aloud after Daine had mentioned it, So have you er...been here long..squid?
