Very interesting. If you haven't already, I would highly recommend researching the Essenes, the Hebrew religious sect to which John the Baptist (and probably Jesus himself) belonged. If you're looking for the direct link to illustrate your argument about Jesus's teachings resting on Socialist values, that's where you're going to find it.
