This is only marginally related, but I just want to note how much I freaking love the character design and animation in Lilo & Stitch. It's different from anything else Disney has ever done. I like how most of the aliens look sort of like Earth animals, except not really, and all the characters' faces are so mobile! And they took the time to come up with a language for Stitch to speak. LOVE THAT MOVIE SO MUCH.

Ee-heeyess. I still think of those 90's Street Sharks toys every time I look at Gantu, and have difficulty keeping straight face whenever he's on screen.

But yes, ee, so much love for Lilo & Stitch. Also, Nani is one of the first disney heroines to...like...actually look somewhat proportionally realistic. Props for giving her actual thighs, and all.

Hmm... I already said as much, but I loved Nani's conversation with Saburo on that post. It gave me more of a chance to dig in and think about his inner mindset.
