Day 5

May 07, 2011 15:07

15 laps in about 55 minutes. I had a slight astma/panic attack in the first lap. I was in a deeper lane because the other two were taken. I usually do the 4ft or 5ft lanes, but I was stck in the 5 1/2 foot lane, which freaked me out. Still, I did it.

I used to be such a water baby. It has been many years since being in the deep end, tredding water and diving in, so this being the first time in a while, yeah. Anyway, thanks for the comment.

No problem, buddy. I need it myself, so I know how it is, how hard it can be. I'm glad I can help.

Our aquatic center has both the 50 & 100 meter lanes. I've never been a strong swimmer, so I have to fight the panicky feeling if I have to use the 100s.

Keep at it! You are inspiring me to want to start back up...

Dude, I don't know what a meter is. I feel I should. Still, I am glad that I am not being looked down on for having an asthma attack. I mean, I have a mini attack everytime I get in the pool, but I'm fine by the time I make it to the other side of the first half-lap, but this was just weird. Anyway, if you find the time, I encourage it. I will be here cheering you on.
