Maybe I can give you a walk though on how to make fanvids. How much experience do you have with video editing and what video software do you have on your computer? (If you don't know, what is your OS)
Most video editing software has the same basic structure so if you learn on something really simple like windows movie maker you can work up to the more advanced software
Start by making something really simple
After you learn how to arrange clips to music then you teach yourself the more complicated programs and techniques, etc
to make a good one is tedious work and LOTS of patience
thank you for these. I haven't looked at them, but I will. I have made slideshows before, so I know my way around Movie Maker, but I always have issues getting the video. I tried to use DivX and get a Xena episode up but it didn't work for me, and I got frusterated and gave up. Anyone who tried to help me, weren't actually all that helpfull, lol. i wish I could just sit down and watch someone with that part and then do it for myself.
I'm guessing the DIVX xena files aren't compatible with windows movie maker. You either need to find .avi files that work or convert the video yourself.
You need converting software to convert video files. I use a version of Any Video Converter Professional. I can walk you though this tomorrow since I'm falling alseep right now. (you need to get lots of software to edit video)
Maybe try teaching yourself with some videos that work for now, after you learn the basics you can make your video.
That may be the case. I am unsure. I will redownload DivX when I have the time, and then I will see about maybe going through my Xena eps to see about the clips. If I can work it this time, I would be so fucking happy. I just wish I knew what people did to get shows like Warehouse 13 that aren't on DVD yet.
I lack the brain power to actually make a list of my own at this hour, but I know for sure that I want to get you one of these. Let's see...
10 ain't happening from me! You'd have to go to the land of Oz for 7. You don't want me drawing 9, 'cause all you'll get is squares and trapezoids. I could get give 8 a try, but it would probably end up more broken than before I started and me really dirty. Hmmm....
So, I'm zeroing in on #2! I don't have a clue where one could get those shirts (though it'd be freakin' sweet if I could) so I guess I know what I'm getting you! ^_^
