Recharge Weekend

This was the first weekend in literally the last two months that I didn't have committed plans with someone to go somewhere.  Starting with trips to Boston, then California to see my family, the fetish fair, Arisia, Montpelier, more trips to Boston...

So what does one do on a mental health recovery weekend?

Make sure you use organic carrots in your juicer. It makes an enormous difference.

I know, and I did. I got a 15lb bag of carrot "seconds" from the farmers market, which is why I got so excited about the juicer in the first place.

Oooh those look tasty!

I think the rice photo might be better with different lighting and if you could see the edges of the plate.

It looks good though and I want to eat it.

I just bought red lentils! I've been looking for a new soup to make (I think I'm boring my brother with lentils and split peas, oh my!) so maybe I'll leave out the nutritional yeast and soup away.

I love that you post recipes in here. So easy to glean!

The nutritional yeast substitutes in for salt, so if you don't use it you have to add a little (at a much less than 1 to 1 ratio)
