WLS: For those who think we took the "easy way out" or "got lucky"

"Luck? I don't know anything about luck. I've never banked on it and I'm afraid of people who do. Luck to me is something else: hard work - and realizing what is opportunity and what isn't."

- Lucille Ball

You know what at first i thought you did take the easy way out * hides her head in shame* then i saw all the hell you had to go through and going to that class put a new light on it for me as well. Actually the class scared the shit out of me. But as I watch you go through basically living hell for a while made me realize that i was truly wrong. You took the only option left to you. I am sorry i ever doubted you. You are so much of a stronger person since the WLS. I'm truly ashamed of ever thinking that . I hope you can forgive me cause i was wrong, you took one of the hardest ways to lose weight. I'm truly sorry.

*sniff, sniff* OMG Moni.... THANK YOU honey. This was certainly not directed at you in any way, shape, or form but I appreciate your comments. All WLS patients get the whole "you were just lucky" or "you took the easy way out," and yesterday a dear friend got it from a couple of people so she called me to vent. Then when I found this quote I just had to post it. LOL!

I really do appreciate the apology girl, it means a lot! *HUGS*
