Why do alarm clocks fail only when you need them most?

When I thought, y'know, it couldn't get much worse? Turns out it got MUCH worse.

I woke up this morning, turned my head to my alarm, and effectively had a heart-attack.

10:30.

That's not possible, I thought. My alarm was still set, and on, for 6:30 a.m. There's no mixing a.m. and p.m. up because I use 24-hour time. And I never sleep through ( Read more... )

I hate it when that happens, when the alarm just doesn't go off >_< I'm glad your teacher was understanding, though ... Even so, hopefully that won't happen again!

It won't, because I'm going to set my phone alarm, my iPod alarm, and I'm going to ask someone to make sure I'm up--either by calling, or by knocking on my door. So many safeguards, so necessary.

I know what you mean -- I've resorted to that as well ... unfortunately, there are times when every one of those fail, so hopefully there won't be for you.

Sort of. I still have a paper (technically for my second final today, but she said I could hand it in whenever), and two more finals (Dimensions and Developmental Psychology), but I get to go home Monday! Oh, and I still have to finish my writing portfolio. But that will actually be fun, I think.
