[Kaito's in a good mood today since now he has his best friend at Hogwarts and he's headed back up the stairs to get to the Gryffindor common as a girl-definitely too soft and squishy to be a boy- plows right into him, which would have been a disaster but luckily he doesn't fall too far down the stairs before the first floor landing breaks his fall.]

[...which was less than painless.]

[Ran pummels face-first into another student, not taking notice to who it was as she was practically blinded by fear.

Unfortunately--or luckily, depending on your point of view--the student broke her fall. She winced, the adrenaline pumping out of fear starting to dwindle as she once again took in her surroundings.]

Ow-ow-ow...[She pushed herself off of the student--a boy, by the looks of things, and begins to nervously apologize.]

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! You'll have to excu--[Her eyes fall on his face, and suddenly a look of fury washes over.]

[Ran is dashing the best she could dash, but is quickly slowed down by the harsh blow to her shoulder. If it hurt her, she couldn't imagine how it must've felt for the un-expected victim...]

I'm sorry, excuse me! [Ran put her hand over her most-likely-bruised shoulder, and turned on her heel to address the student.]

Oh! [It was a girl! She looked like she was making her way in the opposite direction Ran was heading, which means--]

I-if you're headed to the lavatory up here...[Ran pointed ahead.] It's...it's haunted, so you may want to go downstairs!!

[Akako was hardly the same shounen girl as others, so yes, her shoulder was smarting quite a bit and she had to catch her balance on the wall. So safe to say, she was annoyed.]

It's a building full of people, you shouldn't be running around like a maniac. [She's rubbing her shoulder, not quite looking at the girl yet, checking to make sure everything on her person was in order, but something about that voice, like it was vaguely familiar...]

Why would I go downstairs when there's one right on this floor?

But! But, hey--! [Ran leaned forward and whispered below her breath, cupping a hand around her mouth as though sharing an intimate secret.]

There's a ghost in there...!

[Conan had been on his way back to his own common room when he hears a very familiar scream. He drops his books to the floor and dashes towards it. Could it really be her?]

[Ran felt the tears stinging her eyes. She had to make it back to Hufflepuff! Was the ghost following her? She could still hear the moans and groans echoing through the hallways. What kind of place was this?!]

How does any learning get done here with all these creepy things hiding in the hallways?!

[Conan at last rounds the last corner in the hallway and nearly skids to a halt. It was her! But how? And why?]

Conan-kun? [For someone who was just screaming, Ran's voice was strangely quiet.] CONAN-KUN! [Here come the water-works! Ran falls to her knees and cries.]

Conan-kun! What are you doing in such a dangerous place!?!

"...." Ran could tell when she was being stared at. She peered over her shoulder and saw a bewildered-looking girl about her age. She nervously smiled. "Oh! Hi there!"
