I do not know if it is common, but it does seem to have happened. The place I'm from has none of the technology that seems to be commonplace here. As to the question of the Library, I have not been there myself as yet, so I do not know what the restricted section is, nor how one gains access to it.

I am just a Unicorn, not a san. And I do speak, though I understand the unicorns native to this world do not. Is it really such a strange thing for you humans to converse with a beast?

To be honest, there was a point in time where he'd talk to kappa and youkai and other such things, but he's just entering a point in time where recalling that is getting a bit difficult. He's not sure if he should or shouldn't... It just comes out as confusion.]
