[Layton's handwriting scrawls across the page in that quick, slightly messy way of one that's used to jotting down notes often.] Good afternoon everyone. My name is Professor Layton to any new arrivals I have yet to speak with.

I wanted to inform everyone that I am planning on offering extracurricular, non-magical fencing lessons and demonstrations

Most likely. [Conan grins at him.] I've been told I'm very stubborn about this kind of question.

[And Layton laughs a little.]

And that isn't a bad thing at all. If one is to pursue the truth, sometimes they must be unyielding in their beliefs to find an acceptable answer. [Layton might also have a bit of a stubborn streak himself, now that he thinks about it.]
