Okay, so let me get this straight. We're kidnapped, we have our powers stripped away from us, we're forced to learn some new kinda magic, and then the castle that's supposedly completely protected is infested with dead zombie things. And now they're gone and we're just supposed to go about our days?

Nah, not necessarily fishy. Sure, the whole zombie thing sucked, but in the end, this place is still a school... right? What better way to make sure we don't let crap like that happen again than to keep teaching us crap so we can fight better next time?
