Apollo Justice is pretty unclear about how in touch Phoenix is with his old pals from the original series. There's a strong implication he's still in touch with Maya and Pearl, but aside from that, nothing. I'm not sure how you want to deal with this, but I know that Mia indicated not knowing about Trucy with past hobo!Phoenix. At the same time, if Trucy knows both Maya and Pearl, I can't see how they would have gotten away with never mentioning to Mia OH BTW PHOENIX'S CAREER IS OVER AND HE HAS A DAUGHTER XD

Haha, well, I just think Phoenix doesn't talk much about the past, and Trucy is a derp and doesn't ask. She didn't recognize Ema, after all.

The problem is, the game hints about a few people, but it's all when you examine random objects. Like, Maya and Pearl comes from the scene where Phoenix is in the hospital. If you examine his stuff, it reveals it's a giant stack of Steel Samurai DVDs, and he said a friend sends them to him and makes him write reports on the episodes.

Mia is actually briefly hinted at, too! If you examine Charley, Trucy says he belonged to Phoenix's old mentor, and she was really fond of Charley. So Trucy knows Mia exists, but at the same time, she probably won't recognize her.

But yeah, there's really no way Mia would know about Trucy unless Maya was channeling her somehow, since she came into the picture long after Mia's death.

I get the feeling in the game, though, that even without Mia being channeled she has a good idea what's going on (which makes only a vague amount of sense), so... IT IS ALL VERY CONFUSING but I also now can't remember if. Mia knows who Trucy is like would be able to recognize her knows. I'm pretty sure Phoenix told her about her, but now I can't remember if Mia put two and two together when we last had Trucy.

This is obviously why I need real Mia notes as opposed to my shitty memory.
