I just want to say that I like blogging, and I think everyone should try it at least once. Facebook or myspace doesn't count, a blog blog, a site that is geared for writing. People on social network sites like those two don't necessarily blog that much, and the blogs are not always easily accessible

Although I agree with you, you have to keep in mind that people do blog, but on paper, in a real diary. Sometimes there are things you don't want anyone else to see...

I agree that writing on paper can be therapeutic and much more private than online. LJ does offer complete privacy; I have a few private posts. I was mainly speaking of people that have things that should be shared, thoughts and words of wisdom.
