'Darling there's a she-wolf in me, let it out and set me free'

Hooray for actually having time to write my LJ! Although, the reason I haven't written means that I haven't had much to write. The last week has been absolutely hell as I've been doing my dissertation. Pure evil. I'm surprised that I found so much to write about but it was still like pulling teeth to write it. Usually I settle into an essay an even ( Read more... )

music, damn tasty food, msc

I was laughing when you described someone laughing at naked Dracula, I just imagined some corpse like man with a small apendage on stage and someone pointing at him like Nelson in The Simpsons or something. It is pretty immature really.

It's good Mr dissertation is now finished.

I guess the Sugababes are still the Sugababes by name if nothing else. Will be interesting to see how they do with Jade in the band, she has got a really good voice. I felt sorry for Keisha (or whatever her name is) when I read they've re-recorded all the material she did with Jade's voice instead. Not sure I would be able to step into somebody else's shoes like that.

Well despite our best efforts we didn't get to see Dracula's penis. It was only a back shot for about five seconds in the dark which was the stupidest thing!

It must be awful coming into the Sugababes after all the horrors of the past week. The thing is, Keisha had quite a distinctive voice. I've been watching their videos over the past week and it;s surprising how much Keisha sang. We shall see though.

"I bought it on good ol' CD single in HMV at the weekend. Retro."

I literally can't remember the last time I bought a CD single. I'm surprised they still make them!

Well they did just have one tall shelf dedicated to them. It's not often I buy them new but I'm not going to get the album so it seemed worthwhile. I do still collect old ones though, I love B-sides too much! They're becoming a rare thing though sadly.

The Sugababes are like a river. You can't step into the same river twice.

It was good to read this entry as it was like an expanded version of your past few twitter posts!
Glad it's all over for you - it's horrendous having to write a dissertation and work at the same time, but it's all over! Hurray!

Your Sugababes quandry is almost like one I had in a converted church at the weekend. Hmm!

Haha, yes I suppose it would be! I should put a 'for more info see LJ' disclaimer on my twitter feed.
