Harry was incredibly restless. The weekend had dragged along without anything that could take his mind off things.
Dean and Seamus had been inseperable and impossible to talk to for longer than two minutes. It was really nice they had each other, but right now Harry just didn't feel like facing their love all the time. Ron... well, Ron was a tough place to go right now. And Hermione wasn't much better, even if they'd chatted a bit more than usual.
There was still no trio.
And there they were again, the dynamic duo, all over each other. Harry looked away from the couple descending the stairs, probably going to breakfast.
Jealous? He snorted and looked out over the grounds. The grounds he couldn't go out into, because of those buggery rules. He should find a ruddy teacher. He wanted to go over to Hagrid and just hang out before classes. He'd not talked to the man for so long, he felt bad about it

A white owl landed on a fencepost and flapped its wings chirruping impatiently at Hogwarts Groundskeeper. Hagrid frowned until he recognized Hedwig.
"Hullo there Hedwig!" he greeted the bird cheerily, then unwrapped the note from her leg.
"Oh! Yup! Tell 'im I'm coming right up!"
Hagrid hurriedly dusted himself off and strode up toward the castle.
He saw a scruffy dark head and felt something leap in his chest. He wanted to hug the little boy to him like he did a few years ago, but 16 year olds didn't take as kindly to such things.
"Hullo there, Harry," he said, with a friendly thump on the back.
Harry was more or less prepared for the huge hand impacting with his back, but he stumbled slightly forward anyway and had to cough a couple of times.
"Hullo, Hagrid," he grinned weakly and for a moment he simply wanted to fling himself at Hagrid and hug the giant man. He'd always felt so incredibly secure when close to Hagrid. No matter the man sometimes didn't make the most wisest of moves. There was just something about him... something eternal and indestructible.
"I've missed you," Harry admitted. "How've you been?"
"Aw, yeh have not," Hagrid said, delighted by the words. He finally realized he was still thumping Harry's back and stopped. "I been doin' all right. Lookin' after the critters and all." His eyes wandred back the way he'd come, back down to the barn. More than a half giant could hope for. He should be grateful.
