I have to figure out something because I've missed 2 classes now in my senior seminar and if I miss a 3rd its automatic loss of a letter grade. I can go to the doctor and get an excuse but geez that'll get expensive and obvious too...I have no idea how I sleep through two alarms and my loud cell phone...ugh anyone have any thing?

I repeat it as many times as I can, and as my mind starts to drift, I force myself to begin repeating the mantra again the first few times I drift. I've never had it NOT work when I use it.

I have also found that snoozes are bad. If I only set one alarm and know that is the only one I have, I am much more likely to wake up when it goes off. If I know there is a second alarm, I tend to not worry as much about it.
Alarms that are loud and across the room also help, because then you have to get up and turn them off.
And then there is my trick from highschool where I would wake up to Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. It starts soft and builds to a whole bunch of alarm clocks going off. The gradual awakening is supposed to be good for you.
And of course, going to bed early enough to be well rested is another key.
