There are a whole list of accessories for the KitchenAid that effectively expand it to have food processing options but I have a liquidiser/processor/slicer thingy already. My little Sunbeam hand mixer just wasn't keeping up, but will be kept for the stick-blender attachment.
I have a Disney popcorn maker. It was a Xmas present from one of the guys I was seeing end 2007. They are somewhat useful but need to be allowed to cool down after 3 batches, so not great for impromptu gatherings of people.
Oh, and a SolarDom is a great replacement for both an oven and a microwaves as it does Micro, Convection, Combi, grill and a whole bunch of other heat-and-cook things.
Yes, I have a convection micro but don't like using the grill, so I use the grill in my oven.
My old micro has a HUGE capacity and we have been looking around for a micro to replace it and have so far not been impressed with what we have seen.
I have sent it in to be repaired but the techs could not find the fault and it has to go to the manufacturers to be fixed. Not sure if this is viable as it is already 12 years old.

If I could get my oven and micro working properly again I could make cakes.
My hubby wanted to get me one of those a couple of years ago but what I really needed was a mixer/liquidiser/grater thingie, which I got.
I have a bosch hand beater and a small beater that fitts into the mixer bowl for above set.
Yours is awesome.
Get baking and cooking!
PS have you seen the pop-maker from yuppie-chef. I so badly want it but am not sure that I would use it all that much but it's awsome.
