A couple of months ago, I knocked the clock off my bedside table. It was an old clock, and the jolt caused it to develop an awful noise, which made it unsuitable for the bedroom. (Martin and I are both light sleepers.) I dug out a digital clock radio I picked up some years ago, used for a while, then abandoned. It works okay, except it's too big

I have the same problem. Yes, I agree that time is circular. I want an electric plug-in, light-up, analog alarm clock. I've been through quite a few because eventually it will stop lighting up, develop a noise, or the alarm will stop working. I used to be able to get them at Walgreen's or a hardware store, but now it seems like they're all digital. I'm currently using a digital one but I'd prefer analog. Dean did find me one at a garage sale that might work.
