That is quite nice.

How great to see someone who loves the book An Old Fashioned Girl. I loved it as a kid and must have read it seven or eight times. It's not well known. I sometimes think about it now. It gives a very interesting picture of a young nineteenth century girl working to support herself and give money to her brother. I like how she just sets out to do it.

Gah! You've made me so happy! I swear, I never get any agreement on my love for this novel. I adore Polly and Tom and Fanny and all of them. Polly especially, of course, but all of them are so fun to read. And preachy it may be, I do like a lot of what it says about life.

It meant a lot to me when I was a kid. I remember a lot that I think is great. I wonder what I would think of it now. I should read it again.
