Thank you for writing such a wonderful and tremendeous story. There have been a lot of emotions and angst in this. The way you dealt with all the timelines and charakters from TOS, TNG and ST XI is fantastic. I love the way you dealt with McCoys terminal sickness and all that other emonational fallout, the love between these 3 men and so on. You've done an absolut fantastic job :)

Sorry for the really late reply, but I wanted to thank you so much for commenting and say that I'm glad you enjoyed this story. It's great that you thought all the timelines worked well together, I wasn't sure if it would all come together because the story was covering a large number of things. Thanks again! :)

I really enjoyed this. In particular, what struck me most was how you addressed the 'importance' of a parallel universe. I really felt Kirk's struggle with living a life he felt wasn't entirely his, given what he knew of old Spock's memories. And how old Spock finally realized staying there wasn't necessary. He had his place in his own universe.

You made a point of showing us that our favorite trio isn't like the one we know and love; they have their destinies to fulfill. And as we hoped, it will be done together!

Thank you for the lovely comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the story. And yeah I really did want to explore the idea of what it might mean to be a parallel universe of something else and for Jim to be aware of it. In the primeverse they only interact with the mirror universe and obviously they feel pretty good about not being like their counterparts. But it's got to be really weird for Jim to know that he should be someone else if it wasn't for Nero. That his universe is basically an accident, and figuring how he wants to deal with that. And of course he eventually decides to deal with it with Spock and Bones at his side, because just because a lot of things have changed doesn't mean everything has to.
