1. This one was a gen, OW fiction featuring Ezra, chickens, dynomite, and the boys (except Ezra) locked up somewhere. I think Ezra was left for dead and they kept looking out the window for him? I'm not sure, but I do remember the bad guys in this fiction kept saying they didn't know Ezra was Chris's brother. Does anyone remember this story?

the chickens and dynamite are from Eleanor tremayne's "mongoose: a sensible
man", which is still unfinished. I don't remember right now if it has references
to Ezra being chris's brother though. it could have.

Definitely "Mongoose" by Eleanor Tremayne, Esq. The brother thing came about because the bad guys noted a resemblance (eye color plus intensity, or something) and Chris didn't correct them. They weren't really brothers but Chris let them think they were.
