I'll second this recomendation. It starts off with a terrific retelling of the movie Toy Soldiers, and continues on with wonderful character bonding with the 7. You must see Toy Soldiers if you haven't already.

Against The Odds (series) by Jo Ann on All-Ezra has teenage Ezra, Vin and JD in high school.
You will need to use wayback machine however.

Sorry for the late post, but it took me forever to stumble over these two - I've had them in the back of my mind since you first posted this, but I just ran across them this weekend.

"Friends Forever" by C L Combs, at Lady Angel's laLibrary.net
and
"To Survive" by KT at BlackRaptor are different takes on Buck and Chris in high school together.

On FanFiction.net, Poohbear-29's "Escape from Beirut" features pre-ATF Buck and Chris, younger and in the SEALS together.

All are gen. I found all three to be very satisfying reads.

Given the timing, I'll call them a Christmas present, and hope you're still in the mood for them.
