Thank you for the recs! I'm hoping to immerse myself in M7 "Halloween" fic this weekend (and then do the same for Thanksgiving, Xmas and New Year's, too). Embracing the holidays with apropos M7 fic, lol!

'A Witch's Gift', by Heather F., on Blackraptor, scares the living daylights out of Buck, JD, and Ezra in a most satisfying way.(OW, gen).

I recall one about the seven being holed up at Nettie's, in a shootout with gibbering creepy-crawlies outside, and Buck and Ezra greviously hurt, but I can't find it.
I'm thinking it may have been called something like "Bad Moon Rising", and may have quoted the Creedence song's lyrics throughout. (It may have been on a Geocities/Reocities site, since our WebSense filter has only recently barred those entirely to us, no matter the content. It also bars Drinking and Fighting, all-Ezra, Dunne'sDarlins, and (usually)LaLibrary, so I don't think I found it at any of those.)
I remember that I liked the style and tone of the piece.
