The  first story has the gang gathering at JD and Buck's for movie night.  There's a tape already in the player so someone hits play to see a battlebot competition.  the winning 'bot is controlled and owned by JD and Ezra (or was it JD and Vin?).  JD thinks they're gonna laugh at him but the team is supportive and make plans to go to the next one
