6 of the 7 stuck in a curse

Another thanks to all those who have answer my searches.  Here's a new one.  Modern day -- college student (?) JD drives up to the ranch with a truck and a horse trailer to be the new caretaker.  While riding in the corral his horse is spooked and he's knocked out.  Up until then he couldn't hear or see the other 6, but now he hears them as in a

Wonderful! Thank you. I was thinking the title was 'Curse' something and my mind kept supplying "Curse of the Seven" with is another story altogether. But I was close...kinda. Thanks again.
