Still alive

Dears,

perhaps you wondered already why you didn't hear neither from apisa_b nor me. The explanation is rather simple: Dear apisa_b and her larva are with me in the moment. They arrived on Tuesday and now they probably have already gotten enough from stables and horses for the next three months.

**waves to apisa_b and larva**

**slowly and methodically plans Margit's death**

Robin might have died from gorging himself. I know he didn't but he might have. Worse, another horse might be dead now because that idiot woman thinks owning and running a stable is worthwhile because it'll improve her social standing, bugger what happens to the horses.

I'd suggest your "old man" keep his ear to the ground. Had you not been there, had Marissa not been there it could have been very bad. I strongly suspect once the "good" clients (i.e. the ones who'll help Philipp and Margit do their bloody jobs) are gone the stable will be up for sale pretty quick. Then you can hire the real deal back and to hell with Margit.

I don't like her, but I'm very relieved Robin's okay. Bad Robin!! No gorging allowed.

I just feel like killing Margit and her father myself. The longer I think about the entire story, the more furious I become. Robin only survived because he's such a healthy boy, but when I think what could have happened - better not think about.
In every I'm very, very glad that Robin will leave this stable in 10 days.
And besides: I never liked her much and I was sure something would go wrong as soon as she's alone responsible. I only didn't think it would already happen in the first week.
And you know, what's the worst thing about it is: Today I saw her - and she wasn't very bothered about the entire thing. She said she's sorry she didn't notice yesterday in the morning, but she was "a bit late" and first going to the baker for getting fresh breed. And she doesn't know why her father didn't mention Robin running around. Considered that we have a very busy street only 200 m from the yard ...
No, I really don't want to think what could have happened. I only know that I want Robin away from there!"

Come to think of it, we may not have to do murder ourselves: if you told anyone at the Tallhof what happened they might do it for us.

I really think she'll wind up selling the place when it becomes a bother. With you, Renate and most of the good owners leaving, it'll become a bother right quick.

I meant to write "If you tell anyone at the BIRKHOF about this they might kill her for us."

Not being able to fix replies is a bother, sorry.

Professional and caring stable owners read stories like these and make nasty growling sounds. ;)

That's really a piece of impudence of Margit!!! First the lazy bone calls you (and perhaps others too) for doing her job and second she is apparently more interested in her beauty sleep (doesn't help anyway) than in her responsibilities for the horses!!!

Really...I can't stand people with such an attitude...especially if they are in contact with living beings.

Nevertheless I wish you, Barbara and little larva *waves like mad* still some nice days with all the cute horses. Did you show her some of the wonderful Richard Harris movies, too? Or doesn't she like him as much as we do? ;o))

So sorry, darling, but we didn't watch any movie. We only saw horses. ;-)
And as far as Margit is concerned: If only she were doing her beauty sleep! Instead on Thursday in the evening she was going out with her girlfriends (therefore she couldn't come around, looking after Robin). Yesterday in the morning she was once again looking as if she'd drunk too much and slept too little.

The more I read about Robin the more it reassures me I made the right decision breeding from his bloodline in using his brother! :-)

Silly Robin, could have killed himself! I am glad hes ok. Those things are such a worry.

And how right you are about the bloodline! As difficult Robin can be and as many tears he cost me - I'd never give him away. He's the most decent, loveable horse I've ever known.
Besides I'm thinking about the bloodline too. ;-)
You know, my two best friends "own" (until last week my friend Karin owned her. Then she sold her to my friend Renate. But now Renate "owns" Karin another filly out of the mare) a wonderful mare from Come On ... and she's now on the Birkhof stud and shall get another filly next year. Three stallions are in discussion: 1. Denario, the new Bundeschampion (that's the famous Donnerhall line). 2. Sir Alfred, a son of Sandro Song out of a Dream of Heidelberg dame (once again Donnerhall) and 3. Royaldik from Royal Diamond -Rubinstein. His dame is the famous Herka from Caramel xx, the full sister of our former champion Heraldik xx.
Actually I tend to Royaldik. With a Rubinstein one can't go wrong ...
