It's nice to wake up in the morning and discovering a new chapter of the "Phoenix flight" ;o).
I once was a fan of your old fanfic with Poppy and Albus (you remember the "Unfinished" *g*) and I'm sure I'll be of the new one, too. Even Harry gets his right place in it.
“May I come back once? I’d like to hear more - I mean, if you can bear telling me more.” “I’d love to, Harry.” She offered him her hand and went with him to the door. “The memories of Albus is all what’s left. I’d love to share them with you.”
Don't mind the other listener, Madame Pomfrey! ;o))
She certainly won't mind, Dear. ;-) Yet I think you'll recognize a few parts in the new fic because I intend to use some pieces from the "Unfinished". Nevertheless it will be a new one - after DH there's something more about Albus as we had before, isn't it?
I'm glad you like the new story - and you know, I've almost forgotten the kitty! I remembered it in the last moment and put it in again because I'd have been sad too about poor kitty disappearing. ;-)
Very nice. I like it how you take little details, like pictues and photos, and weave them into the plot.
It's hard to depict Mad-Eye as good looking, though :-)
You went a bit agains canon with Albus taking Harry to Hogwarts at the night his parents died - but it is a good backstory for the grandfatherly feelings Albus harboured towards Harry.
Thanks, darling! Yet I don't think I'm "off canon" with the night at Hogwarts. There are 24 hours between the attack on the Potters and Harry's arrival at the Dursleys - and it's never explained where Harry was during this time. I think Dumbledore needed to do some preparation before he'd Hagrid "delivering" Harry - and well, that was my attempt to explain the 24 hours.
And yes, I'm going to have time in September. It's only possible that you'll have to spend an awful lot of time around horses. Just ask dear aphrodeia. You know she visited me last summer ... and well, we spent most of our time in the stables. I don't think it will become so bad in September - Robin will be at the Birkhof and I don't intend to visit him there every day. On the other hand: Fayence, my friend's new mare, will be there too ... and besides I hope we'll get something nice to ride there for your Larva and you ...
As if I'd mind spending a lot of time at the stables! And riding ... yes, I'd love to ride and have some experienced horse-people cast an eye on my riding and correct me, or show me something to work on when I get back. *We* certainly wouldn't object to visiting Robin and Fayence every day:-)

Can't wait to hear the rest of her story. Also - and that's of course crazy me - I'm glad the kitty made it out alright.
